How RideReserve Works
all multi-ride pass holders must confirm each trip using Amtrak RideReserve—via the website, app, or agent—to ensure reserved services. Two confirmations per day, anytime from 14 days before departure up until departure time.
Pass Restrictions
- Multi-Ride Passes cannot be used on Acela trains, Auto Train, California Zephyr, and specific long-distance routes.
Track Your Usage
Riders can review remaining rides and ride history (date, time, service) via the Amtrak
Pass Transfer Policy
- Not transferable, except on Pacific Surfliner: a 10-Ride pass may be used by more than one person traveling together if the pass’s owner is among them

Ticket Refund & Cancellation Policies
